Hub Development Programme

Launching in 2024, our Hub Development Programme will work alongside governments and NGOs to plan, develop and manage community learning centres in areas where they are needed most.

Dedicated Learning Spaces

By supplementing existing education systems, our global network of community-led, digitally-connected Hubs will create the space and means for valuable learning opportunities.

Hubs will support a range of individuals. On a typical day, the Hub may be used by school students attending additional English lessons, local teachers taking part in professional development sessions, or even adults in the community learning about accounting and other essential business skills.

Powered by Volunteers

Teaching in the Hubs will be led remotely by subject experts who generously give up their time and expertise to our learning communities.

Although the majority of our volunteers are qualified teachers, some are subject experts interested in the power of education. All of our Volunteachers go through the same onboarding and training process, equipping them with the skills and systems to exchange their knowledge with learners around the world.

Sponsor a Hub

Each EqualEd Hub will have a core sponsor. Whether a family, business or even another charity, sponsors contribute towards the development and operation of the Hub, ensuring that learners have a dedicated and appropriate classroom space within their area.

Supporting students, local teachers and wider communities, sponsors will work closely with EqualEd to broaden its global network of community-based, digitally-connected learning centres.
