Our Programmes
EqualEd is connecting people across cultures, skillsets, and perspectives with the hope that equal access to education will enable equal opportunity for everyone, no matter their location or socio-economic situation. Learn more about our three core programmes below.
Volunteachers
Programme
Our Volunteachers Programme connects experienced and passionate volunteer teachers with classrooms across the globe. Using Google technology, we link subject matter experts with students in some of the most low-resource and remote settings, providing equal access to quality education for every young learner.
We work with passionate educators and subject matter experts who generously volunteer their time and expertise to our learning communities. We’re always seeking to work with new volunteers, so if you’re interested in getting involved, let us know.
Teacher Training Programme
Our Teacher Training Programme enables educators around the world to access high-quality training regardless of their financial means, experience or location. We aim to contribute to the development of competent and confident teachers who can make a positive impact on students’ learning and educational outcomes.
We focus on several key areas to equip educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their profession including: Pedagogy and Instructional Strategies, Classroom Management, Assessment for Learning, Inclusion and Adaptive Strategies, Educational Technology Integration, Reflective Practice, Safeguarding, and Educational Equity and Social Justice.
Hub Development Programme
Launching in 2024, our Hub Development Programme works alongside governments and NGOs to plan, develop and manage community learning centres in areas where they are needed most.
By supplementing existing education systems, our global network of community-led, digitally-connected Hubs will create valuable learning opportunities for students, teachers and wider communities.
